Dhoni praises Sachin ton

Indian captain MS Dhoni said it was a "pleasure" to see Sachin Tendulkar bring up his first ODI hundred in Australia, one that set up the six-wicket win in the first final of the CB Series at Sydney on Sunday.

Chasing 240 to win, India reached the target with just over four overs to spare with Tendulkar playing right through the innings to finish at 117 not out."It's always a pleasure to see him bat. He ran well, he got the boundaries and he carried the youngsters with him," Dhoni said at the post-match presentation.e wanted to prove a point, the whole team enjoyed the innings," he added.Dhoni, who brough up the winning runs with a boundary, said in hindsight losing the tossdid not matter much."We got the wickets at the crucial time and Harbhajan and Piyush Chawla bowled very well. Australia were at one stage looking to score over 300, but it's good that we were able to contain them," he said, adding that they had to concentrate on the next game at Brisbane.

Meanwhile, losing captain Ricky Ponting said his team had put in a "sloppy" performance.

"It was a sloppy performance not only from the batsmen but from the bowlers as well. And Sachin just got into the groove for India,
